Car wreck

My daughter was driving a 04 Mercury Sable approx 45K miles - new tires and newly aligned. She wrecked the car claiming that the steering wheel wouldn't allow her to turn the car towards the right. She couldn't further describe the event. She hit an oncoming car at about 45mph - luckily no one was injured. I'm trying to find out if the car was not aligned properly of if there was a bad tire - could that cause this problem?

Re: Car wreck

More likely the steering rack should be checked or any mechanical binding in the steering linkage, you will need an independent 3rd party expert for this analysis.

Re: Car wreck

How soon after the alignment did the accident happen?
Something may have come loose and jammed it.
I know people that can help.
