DB9 or Vantage V8?

I'm going to order one of them but which one!!! OK, so the V8 has 2 less seats and a smaller engine and a manual gearbox but I like automatics!

I'm leaning towards the DB9 instead to be honest but I can't test drive a Vantage V8 as there are none at any dealer within travelling distance to me.

So, assuming the difference is price is not an issue (it's not) then what would you go for and why?

Thanks

Re: DB9 or Vantage V8?

i know that this is probably two years too late but i would go for the db9 as it is stronger performance wise and there is a huge waiting list for the V8 Vantage, but hey its your money

If money doesn't count, why don't you buy a DBS? It's the most fascinating Aston Martin of all times!

Re: DB9 or Vantage V8?

DB9 looks cooler than the Vantage and the DBS (which are stunning, yes). Me I 'd get the 9 with the optional sports pack

Re: DB9 or Vantage V8?

there's practically no difference between them except the size. that's why they call the Vantage a baby Aston/DB9. but i don't care. they're both automotive beauties designed by a genius by the name of Henrik Fisker.
