Hey all, new to the neighborhood !
Greetings to all !! Quick bio: Tony, born and raised Chicago, Colleg in Minnesota, now live in Winter Garden Fl. where I co-own and operate a pet hotel. Grew up around cars in my fathers body shop mostly ferraris and corvettes but I always had a thing for the late 70's very early 80's XJ series Jag's !!! I finally located an 80' XJ12 that is gorgeous !!
Anyone have any info that could give me, things to look for or problems these cars are known to have ? What kind of maintenance costs etc. The car has documented 95,000 miles and was owned by a "lil old lady" who had it serviced like clockwork by a local mechanic. Anywho just though I would ask around before buying, the car is white with blue leather !! Hope to chat with you all soon, Tony B. |
