Buying a car, need some opinions/advice

Hey!

I am currently looking to purchase a new car, well not new but new to me!

Hopefully some of you can help me with my decision.

I'm currently driving a 2006 Pontiac G6 (V6 Base Model), but my true interest lies within a more sporty car, something Japanese (typical, huh?) and something quick.

Not only am I going to sell my G6, but I also want to buy an older car for a lower price. I am hoping to find a car for around 3-5K max.

The current cars I have interest in would be around 1996-2000 Integra, Prelude and the 240sx.

Can anyone help me decide on which to get, or if there is something better, more bang for the buck. I would like to have some speed and would be interested in putting some money into some aftermarket parts (not a wing with a coffee can exhaust) too!

Thanks in advance!

My suggestion would be an Acura RSX . I'm not sure you could find one in the price range you mentioned ? They are great cars ! Good luck and let us know what you decide !

I would love to get an RSX, but they are just too expensive (more then double I want to spend) for my budget right now.

The Integra so far is what has held my attention the most.

A 5th or 6th Generation Toyota Celica could do. The older ones had good engines and AWD.

If you can find one, a 80's Mazda RX-7 is also nice.

The Accura is a good choice, those cars are really nice.
