What is an "Official Kit Rivet Counter"??
I see a few people with this banner in their sig:

As the group leader, it's my resposibility to explain this to you.
Us Rivet Counters are the review team that keeps the Kit Review thread going. The term "Rivet Counter" comes from old model railroader slang for people who put accuracy above all else. It's slightly derogatory nowadays, but to be called a rivet counter means that you show dedication to the subject matter and hold kits to a high standard.

Maybe ya'll should make it more car-oriented...
Instead of rivet counter, call it weld-checker... Or torque-specer... Or something. Just a thought, and a joking one at that....

The term "rivet counter" is good for cars too. 70's and earlier F1 cars had lots of rivets on them. As do some modern cars like the Peugeot 206 WRC (to hold on reinforcement panels).
