Replacing milage chip in digital gauges
I have an '89 S10 Blazer with digital gauges, about half of which work. I'm thinking of buying a new console off of E-bay, but before I do, I want to find out how complicated it would be to put my milage chip in the new console. Can anyone tell me?

Re: Replacing milage chip in digital gauges
When I put my new electronic dash in the mechanic at the dealership hooked it up to some sort of computer with a cable which reprogramed the mileage. They would not do it until i bought the car up to the dealer with the old dash pluged in so they could verify the mileage and the they set the new dash to the same miles as the old one.Check this link it has some info http://www.dashmaster.com/info.htm
