a/c problems

Hi, hope someone can help me out, i have 1999 rav 2.0 2 wheel drive. ok i have a 10 amp fuse located on pasenger floorboard junction that blows every time i push the a/c button. has anyone else ever had this problem and if so if you help me out it would be forever thankful

Re: a/c problems

unplug the compressor and put a good fuse in-- see if it blows when a/c is switch on-- if not- then most likely your a/c compressor coil is shorted to ground and needs replaced. if it still blows, the trouble is elsewhere in the circuit...
