That is sweet. My moms 2001 XKR was the first hard top in the country. It is 1 of 3 red hard tops. Jag took it to a photo shoot and her car was the red jag on the www.jaguar.com website for the year. When she went to pick it up at Jaguar of Troy in MI. Paul Gentilozzi (Jaguar racer in Trans am series) and Barry Sanders were there to pick up theirs too. These cars are so cool.

My congratulations!
Tres chic! Good choice. Jaguars are cars for people with a very good taste, who search for something elegant, more exclusive and want to differentiate from the "status-quo"(Merc, Ferrari, Porsche&Co!) Have fun driving it! |

Re: My new car... Guess what!
Has anyone seen Any spy shots of the new XK, supposed to be released at the April, N.Y. show?
I cannot find anything on it. Talk about a well kept secret!

I have owned Jags for years, and i love them to bits. Ive even invested in a series 1 e-type (my baby) but it pains me that I am unable to buy anymore. I departed from my XJ last year, and my wifes XKR is being replaced soon.
I am certainly envious of you my freind. But may I congratulate you on a stunning choice. My wifes car is almost identical apart from the leather seats are charcole. But still, its a real stunner! PS. Dont you think that the supercharger makes all the difference!!! |

All the extra horsepower on it really does make it all shine! The one problem i found is that you do lose a lot of space to that folding roof section, so my seat is ressed against the rear ones! But it is well worht it for such a fantastic drive.
