2004 pontiac grand am

I changed the exhaust in a 2004 pontiac grand am se1 today. I do not have a lift so I jacked up the front passenger side & put down on a jackstand. I jacked up back on a hydralic jack as high as the jack would go.

I Replaced the exhaust & do not think I disturbed anything , But after stopping & starting the car 4-5 times & driving it 30 or so miles now it will not start & I can smell gas. did I disturb something ? please help

Start with inspecting your fuel lines from the tank to the engine. Might have damaged one with the jack or the stand.

Like the guy above me said to check the fuel lines also check to make sure you dont have a leak in your tank.

Welcome to AF strecartin !

Could have hit the fuel filter area since its about the only fuel line close to the exhaust.
and all the lines are away from jack points.

these filters can be a PITA about leaking if the O ring in the line is damaged. also check the schrader valve on the pass side of the intake and see if its getting fuel.
if not i'd bet the filter is loose or clogged.
