distributor bolt.
I have a 2.8L in my 85 S10 blazer I need to adjust the timing.
Does anybody know what size the bolt is that holds the distributor down? I need to go buy a distributor wrench and I don't want to buy the wrong size. Thanks W00dy Last edited by W00dy; 05-29-2014 at 08:00 PM. |

Re: distributor bolt.
Ok I think it's a 15mm.
Can't find a 15 mm distributor wrench in town so I'll just have to order one online |

A 9/16" should work also.

Too bad I think I probably have 2 of 'em relegated to the old obsolete tool drawer. I do believe I bought at least one of 'em off the tool rack at a local auto parts store.
