freeze plugs
Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone could help me out...i think a freeze plug popped or something because it got really cold one night and i went to move it the next morning and all the "water" came pouring out the bottom. So yeah I had water in the cooling system instead of antifreeze.
So if anybody has any info as to where the freeze plugs are or maybe its something else that would be great. Also if anybody has a manual they would like to get rid of let me know. 1988 mitsu mighty max. 2.0 manual |

Re: freeze plugs
wow, that's really sad that you didn't have antifreeze in you vehicle. maybe you cracked the block too? freeze plugs are round discs in the block. they are ½" to 1¼" in diameter. find the one that's pushed out.

Re: freeze plugs
Well it goes through a lot of coolant and its cheaper to use water in the summer. I just didnt change it in time. It also burns a lot of oil but thats another topic. So yeah ill have to get in there and check the freeze plugs
