I have a leak in my windshield wiper fluid tank

How do I take the tank out?

Other than the electrical connector and washer hose going to it I don`t remember what else holds it in besides a screw or two. I just remember when I did my water pump it only took me a few minutes to pull it out so I could get the fan shroud off

what year is your truck?
I know in the 87 ram its just unplugging a harness and taking out one bolt u might not have to buy a new tank either if u have any bondo laying around i found out that works well

Hi, thnx for the info..ended up prying the resevoir tank out, putting some jbweld on the seam, added the fluid, but I guess it still leaked...ended up going to the dealer's and buying a new one for about $50..guess these things don't last forever!!
