Re: how to make a car model???

Visit the Diecast Car Modeling & Car Modeling forum.

A simple search will lead you to a pretty big amount of information about building and modifying your models.

models come with instructions. no, that wasn't some joke to make out you're an idiot. they're simple, depending on detail.

Re: how to make a car model???

I saw this when it was in the sketching forum and meant to ask, do you mean you want to put a model kit together or make your own from scratch?

Revell sells both civic and acura integra kits that can be built stock or modified with body kits that are included. You can paint them any color that you'd like.

You mean start with a diecast model and redo it?

Sure, it can be done. But it's going to be easier, probably cheaper, and more fun to start with a kit and build it up your self.

There's plenty of info here on how to go about it.

I'm not sure where you will find a body kit for that.

A little bit of searching would have saved you some trouble. There've been dozens off topics about wheels.

www.hlj.com for one.

Thats what the FAQ, Tutorial Depository, ScaleWiki, and search feature are for.

That is when you want to put on a readily available body kit. If you want to make your own, you'll need something called epoxy putty.

It's made of two parts, and you mix them together to create your own object. It's like sculpting clay, and really easy to use. The mixed putty hardens in 4-6 hours, and after that, you can carve and sand it into the final shape.
