I have an idea that will bring more people to AF's GM forum...

I keep seeing all of these people's sigs that have the AF club that they belong too. I think that this section of AF (Graphic Manipulation) should start their own club to attract more people to this forum. There aren't many photochoppers here now, so if we promote this forum, we will get more and more people interested in photoshop. I remember about four months ago, when I first stumbled into this forum. The only reason I came here, is because i am used to clicking Automotive Forums-->Automotive Art-->Car Modelling, and one day i noticed it said graphic manipulation, and i checked it out. I thought that i would never be able to do this, but soon, I learned. If people come here, they can easily learn how to photoshop. This will benefit our CONTESTS and VOTERS. If more and more people come, we will have more competitive competitions, and more entries. THis forum is NEVER crowded as we speak. The most people I see in here at a time i usually 2-4. I just want this fourm to become more active, and have more people to meet/interact with. What do you all think?

I was drawn to the G.M. thread through a link in the BMW section. I never new what this thread was all about, but once I learned, I became a daily visitor of this section. I think if more people knew how cool this stuff was, they would come. But I was liking the little group we had in this thread...

BTW, I am thinking about starting chopping... All I need to do is read a couple tutorials and get a couple CDs of important software from my friend...

I'm not sure on what to do here. Do we just start a club up? Or ask Igor? How about Mentel, he's the moderator for the GM section I believe.

Hmm, well, I guess we should ask mentel, since hes the moderator. I think he'll probably like the idea. I'm so glad you guys are interested. I guess our first step (after mental approves) is to create a logo that says our club name and promoted the GM forums of AF. Any ideas as to a name? AF Photoshop Club? AF Car Choppers Club? Any suggestions?

Shit, its a good idea. I really don't think you have to get a mod to agree with it, when I started my club it was actually just as an inside joke, and I just made the pic and threw it up there, soon I had more peope joining in. I'm up for it if you will let me, Ill just through up my AF GM tag under my pic.
