The Jetta does not have the leather seats, the monsoon system sucks unless you have an aftermarket radio, and obviously with no leather there is no heated seats. And the RX-8 is fatser stock, but since im saying the jetta is mine then its not stock.

The RX8 is the only "sports" car on the list. I am not impressed with it however. Personally i found that it is fairly underpowered, but the handling is quite nice for a stock car. I dont know your criteria in buying a car, but there are definately better choices out there.....

rx8, RWD, revvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvy engine, enough power for it's weight to have fun, great braking system and enthusiastic styling that wont let you forget your car is powered by a couple of triangles.

Re: This is for fun but what would you guys rather pick?

this question needs more specification....the RX-8 is more fun hands down....but what are the purposes that your car needs to fulfill?

Not really a big fan of any of them. However, my wife did say that she thought that the RX-8 was cute. So I put her down for one of those.

Re: This is for fun but what would you guys rather pick?

Diamantes are terrible. Seriously, don't tow anything or else you'll end up looking for a new gearbox.

The Celica GT is shit, the GTS is worth the extra dough.

The Jetta Mk IV is a good car, but the RX8 is better.

If you're like most Yanks though and consider reliability to be the cornerstone of Automotive engineering, then your only option is the Celica.

Re: This is for fun but what would you guys rather pick?

The jetta and then the RX-8, and from what ive seen the only lag the 1.8t would give is if it was an automatic. Because if i could get a 1990 honda civic 1.5 that got like 39 mpg and a 0-60 in about a minute, then im sure something was wrong with the car.
