Vector Hot Rod art

Alright let's get started. I just joined but I've been hanging around deviantart and lateral-g among others for awhile but I'm just whoring around the forums showing everybody what I do. The following pics are my newer stuff and also some of my most popular work. You can probably tell that I'm into g-machines, restomod, pro touring etc style muscle cars. The only problem I have with them is the progression they're making toward "street rod" style ... I've seen them starting a term for it .. muscle rod or something like that. Pouring buckets of money into a car that someone else designed and built is lame if you ask me. Anyone with money can have an amazing car built. It's a different story when a guy is doing it in his garage on a budget.

Anyway, the Olds is done from a Big Time Muscle die cast model, the Firebird is the concept for my brothers car sitting in pieces in our shop right now. It sorts of sums up what O'Dell Studios does ... design Hot Rods digitally while the real thing sits in pieces as a rust bucket in the process of a build. We use Adobe Illustrator and I'm not positive this is the right forum but I think so. It looks like a lot of chops and some 3D but this is digital art so I think this is more accurate than drawings which sounds like more traditional work. I've dug around some and I know there are some seriously talented folks here ... please offer any feedback and don't even hesitate to tear my work up with crits. Hope you enjoy.
