Re: Brake light circuit

brake light curcuit fault indicates that the brake light switch is faulty. even if they work or not.

Re: Brake light circuit

If it comes up brake light curcuit, it is the switch, it is not telling the computer the lights are working. From the dealer the sw. is about $38

Lightbulb

I was advised by User Antiburn the following:

Your connection to the light cluster may be faulty. Remove the light cluster and check the connection points where the bulb socket mounts to, they also burn and cause the light not to work.

Check the pins have not burnt out with the connection.

Re: Brake light circuit

if it comes up break light curcuit.. it is the switch above the foot pedal.. it is not telling the computer that the lights are working... if it comes up break light, then the lights are not working... what is it saying?
