turbo vs supercharger on NSX

which do you think would be better and why?

Better as in performance -- turbo. Ive read about 550 + Hp NSXs that run high 11s with turbos.

Better as in relaiablility -- Well, depends. The comptech supercharger is a well known supercharger, pretty reliable. Turbo depends on the installation, how proffesional it is.
Supercharger -- Low end, launching power. The comptech boosts HP to around 420 + at the crank. Performance, gets it in the mid 12s.

As an owner I would tell you to go with the Supercharger. This one in particular:

Turbos do strange but not wonderful things to the motor of an NSX.
you have to keep in mind that the motor you are playing with is $23,000
The stats that the above site is showing is for the older 3.0 engine, in later years you get a 3.2 (stick only)

Not to bust in but.. definitely Supercharging.. with the Low torque..and the already high end breathing.. it is the choice from an enginering pint..

Now to Dog.. yo have a 50 hp Nsx turning high 11'smy Ls1 Ws6 withe Bolt ons and a Stall converter.. on daly driven nitto' 9 due to the torque.. ran 11.7x this was before the LPE teatment and don't forget its equippend with the 1le.. so handling is on par with a 99 C5 Vette hardtop.. not too shabby for an antiquatedmusclecar..

christ.. withouttorque you cars will never exsit turns and run a 1/4 mile like a high torque V-8.. Sorry engineering facts .. rev till 10,000 rpm it doesn't matter

So??? You just post to diss NSX's??? These cars aren't even close to each other in any way. I like V8's too but I alaso like the NSX. Why attack someone's ride just to make yourself feel superior? Nice car, you don't have to prove anything.
