This question is about a Solara I have not yet seen. It is a 1999 with only 11000 miles on it (I imagine it is tamper proofed). What should I inspect before bidding on it. Obviously, a car with that few miles on it has set for long periods of time. Is there bearings in the wheels that could flatten or something with the suspension that could not handle the idleness? The only other thing I can think of is rust. My sister let her Bronco sit in a garage years at a time since she only used it in really bad weather. It rusted quite badly and had to be sold at a low price because of it. Are there particular areas that the Solara is suseptible to rust?
