Install Neon license plate

can someone please tell me how to install a neon license plate that has 5 wires on the transformer. there is one white wire, one red, and 3 black. thanks!

Actually it depends on which state you live in, some ban all neon, some just certain colors. Well the red one would probably be the power wire. The white one might be the remote wire to tell it to light up when the car is turned on. One of the black ones has to be a ground. Im not sure about the other 2 black ones though, sorry i couldnt be more help.

in general any color but red or yellow (for turn signals) on the back of the car is illegal.

well, white on the back of the car is illegal to avoid confusion to whether the car is coming or going. blue is illegal because that color is reserved for police. All other colors are illegal to avoid confusion with turn signals or warning lights
