Re: Engine swaps we like and hate.
My fav sleeper swap atm is putting the EJ20T from the WRX replacing the EJ25 in Impreza RS. Rice boy killa!! hehehehe. And since the drive trains one both vehicles are so similar too, it doesn't need too much extra work done to the rest of it.

Swaps I hate... chevy motors in classic fords! which is every damn '32 ford on the planet. My goal in life is to throw a big block ford into a '56 chevy and watch all the chevy fan cringe.
Swaps I like... Volvords! |

I just talked to a friend who says a guy up the street from him has a Z06 engine and six speed he's putting in a first gen Lexus sedan, not the glorified Corolla the rear-drive one. I think that'd be pretty sweet. Closest thing I've seen to that was a 302 (5.0) stroked to a 347 and a 6 speed shoved in a Mazda 929. I'd like to see a rotary engine in a 929 why hasn't anyone done that?

Cool link. I'd like to see them put the new Z06 engines (427) into some RX7s maybe a 300ZX or two. There was a guy near me who who put a 351 Ford stroked to a 450 in a second gen RX7 man that thing was faster than hell. |

Re: Engine swaps we like and hate.
actually the SR20DET is the 2.0L 4 cyl from the silvia, the japan version of the 240sx
it gets 17yr old's nutz hot and bothered the RB26DETT is the skyline motor that gets 14 yr olds nutz hot and bothered
