im thinking about isuzu
hi
im thinking about buying an isuzu hombre w/ a 4.3 vortec 1997... im just wondering if theres anything i should know about them...the guy who wants to sell it said sometimes when it rains it has problem starting...but i remember the nissan used to have the same problem...is it just wires that needs to changed...other than that the truck looks and sounds clean |

The truck you are looking at is nothing more then a Chevy S10. Isuzu just puts there name plate on it at the end of the production line.

Exactly. Same assembly line in Louisiana. Once you get the wire/coil/CMP problem fixed, it should run until the body rusts off. The 262 V-6 is usually good for about 300,000 with proper maintenance. Ditto the 4L60 transmission. Front axles and transfer cases (FWD) can be a different story, however.
