A couple wins and losses in the miata.

So my friend got his lisence, he drives a 91 miata stock except a a cold air intake. We live in a hick town with nothing to do so we drove around for about 7 1/2 hours thursday but no races. Then friday we went cruising and we raced his cousin in a mustang coupe(not the gt)first race she was about a bumper ahead of us. The next 2 times he redlined it every shift and we won by a car each time. Later that night we got a call from another one of our friends in his moms car(dont know what it was. just a sedan) first race he won by a car. then the next race we had a car by 2nd gear then when we shifted into 3rd we had about 1/2 a car more then he had to shut it down. Then saturday we drove around for a couple hours then cruised the strip. After toying with some people we parked it in mcdonalds because we needed to tlak to the people that were with us in a different car, and these guys in a mustang came up and asked if we wanted to race so they took us to a spot and the first race my friend spun his tires on rocks and lost by about 2 cars. then the next race my friend got him on the jump by about a car then he started catching up through 1st and 2nd then at 3rd he came out about 1/2 car so the miata ended up finishing at the mustangs door. I dont know if that mustang was stock or not the guy said it was. then my friend looked under the hood and thought he saw a turbo.

cliff nots: raced 1 mustang lost by a nose then beat it 2 times by a car
raced a sedan and lost by a car then one by 1 1/2 cars.
raced a different mustang 1st loss by 2 cars next loss by 1/2 car

What years were those mustangs? Were they the late 80's to early 90's, 99+, or 05+. If they were 99+ then he had some good runs.

The second guy MORE than likely didnt have a turbo because if he had any kind of forced induction he would have owned the miata big time. Nice races.
