Valve covers for 3.8L
I work for a salvage yard and noticed that when we get a 3.8L motor from a Camaro that it has aluminum valve covers. On my 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT it has the plastic valve covers. I checked the specs of both and they are identical. Now i know aluminum disiapates heat better. So would this be a good mod to put on my car?
It seems like a good idea to me since i can get these cheap. And if it works then its probly a good cheap mod to do. Any thoughts? |

Re: Valve covers for 3.8L
Certainly can't hurt to change them if they fit properly. I would make sure to use new gaskets though.
