Exclamation Code 41

I am getting a code 41 on my 1989 Olds 98 Regency Brougham.. Any help with what that is??

Code 41 is the cam signal circuit........possible problems are the sensor itself, missing magnet on the cam, electrical connectors in in the harness to to the sensor or ICM, wiring problem in the circuit, bad ICM, wiring to ECM, ECM, etc.....

With this code, the ignition has one chance in 6 of firing the injectors at the correct time, if there is no cam signal....engine could run rough, but it will still start....

It runs fine after starting.. it just seems to not fire after maybe 3 or 4 starts in a row.. noticed an intermitent miss yesterday when driving to town (8mi) and back
