Re: lpg conversion

Generally speaking, yes its possible. Quite a few cars around here have been professionally modified to run on propane and gasoline. All the original fuel-injected gasoline components are retained, with a full propane system added as well. A dashboard-mounted switch changes it over.

The downside here is the propane tank usually goes in the trunk, which takes up a lot of space.
Also, such a conversion must be professionally done to be safe. I have done a couple of home made conversions using universal kits on old carbureted vehicles. Such jobs are imho dangerous.

Finally, the cost of such a kit can buy a lot of gasoline. You would have to crunch some numbers and make sure you drive enough for the expense to be worthwhile.

Maybe I can buy kit in Europe from Turkey it is much cheaper, but my concern is that there is not enough space on 3.1 or 3.4 sfi engines since there is injector rail and upper plenum so not enough space to route the rubber lines. If you have any pictures or good addresses that I can visti let me know thx.
