Re: AC Manifold set help
Assuming it also came with hoses, the little white "tubes" are seals for the hoses. You may find one of them falling out or wearing out so they provide you with spares. The red tool is a Schrader valve tool useful for removing or installing the valves in the event they are leaking. The brass adapter allows you to use your hoses with tanks or lines that have a different size fitting than your hoses. The picture is too small for me to determine what the little brass piece is for. it almost appears to be part of a Schrader valve, or possibly a depressor that can work with the brass adapter.

Re: AC Manifold set help
Thanks
yes has 3 hoses and the couplers for the low and high side. the little brass part ( valve) after a closer look fits inside the brass coupler, a replacement like the shrader valve. I have a 134a can tap that does not have an ACME 1/4" it is some kind of other 1/4 fitting the hoses will not fit, and the brass adpter fits on to provide an ACME 1/4" that the hose will fit on and aparently the "valve" is wide so it is actuated when screwed on and i think it contacts the ID of the fitting it is screwed on to. so the white tubes/seals go into the actual hoses when the ones in there are worn?. The ones in there now are black thanks |
