Re: Cheaper cars use light parts?
Most of the "expensive" cars run the same gear as "cheaper" cars. Fancier upholstery and emblems might be impressive but the engines and running gear are likely the same.
What parts are you referring to? |

Yes i think this can be happened because every company wants to make profit and that's why they launches cars in very expensive rate with very good parts but some companies use lower quality parts and sell that car in small amount.

Re: Cheaper cars use light parts?
Hi, there although I agree that for cheaper cars the parts are cheaper in comparison to the costlier ones but then I do not agree with this statement completely. The reason being let's take an example for Nissan. Now its not completely functional in India i.e the assembling is done here for most its car but the parts are manufactured abroad. Same goes with BMW. Now these factors increases the price. Let's talk about the smaller cars like Tata Nano or Maruti 800, now I cannot understand whats the meaning of cheaper parts perform well in required condition. Its a simple fact that if you are zooming on a express way at a sky rocketing speed and wants to stop your car then believe me just because it's a cheaper car with no so fancied safety parts you might find your axle broken,or worst your car might get un-balanced and in cases it can be fatal too. So the moral of the story is that though cheaper cars helps in cutting down your expenses but if you want to be safe and feel comfortable you need to shell out some extra money
