Lancia Delta Integrale 8v ,Hasegawa 1/24

Greetings to you all. I would like to show the construction of the model of the Lancia delta 8v. Because this model does not produce no one so I had to do a transkit.

And I think that I'm not the only one who wants to have a delta 8v in their collection. That's why I did the tutorial.

but let's call ends it advertising.
I would like to build this car:

Franz Witmmann/Jorg Pattermann, Winners Barum rallye 1989.
the model I used the Kit Hasegawa .

First what we do is cut off the front of the bonnet.

We need to cut to the front mask. Then the edge of the front of the mask must be sanded.

Then I removed the inside of the mask.

According to the instructions of what I did I installed etching of the grid.

My fault. Etching is less 0, 2 mm.

There is no need to panic. Etching is to be put in the middle and around to put the thin wire. I used lead acid, 0, 3 mm .

It's better than I originally wanted.

I now work at lower grilles. And that's all for now. meanwhile

Nice. Will you be selling your transkit ? I'd be keen on one.

Re: Lancia Delta Integrale 8v ,Hasegawa 1/24

We continue..

Surfacer. It's not perfect, but I need it.

How accurate is the test of the front hood.

I sharpened it the rear part of the front of the bonnet and it was too much. There is a plastic plate 0,3mm. And that's kept in the plane, I put in horizontal holder .

The gap (groove) between the workpiece and the grid to cement this.

Front hood honed by.

I started making interier. I don't have a good photo, and so it's a bit fancy

Re: Lancia Delta Integrale 8v ,Hasegawa 1/24

Another sequel.

I placed in the Interior seats and safety belts. Both are from the Hasegawa box.

Then the instrument panel, steering wheel and tripmaster.

When I finished on the cockpit, I started work of the chassis the car.

The color is is sprayed gun. The base is metal silver, the shadows strongly diluted black color, illuminated part of aluminium silver. Then applied wash from oil paints (Winsor&Newton) and pigments( lights dust and dark rust on the exhaust)

Then the engine protection plate.

Base : dilute metal silver. Color up is Air Vallejo Black. Subsequently gouge sand paper and "fresh" abrasions aluminium silver. And ...

Inspiration...

The model I wanted to decal . Decals will contain three versions. Rallye Argentina 1988 ( third place), rallye Semperit 1988 (winner ) and Barum rallye 1989 (winner). Decals are only small limited serie ....

If someone had pics from rallye Argentina and Semperit rallye and would like to provide, I'll be very happy. You can write PM.
Thanks

Very nice work. Didn't Modelers do the 8 valve in 1/24th resin back in the early 1990's ? I saw these cars when they shipped them back from the 1000 Lakes rally via Chicago O'Hare on Alitalia cargo. It took 2 747's for the Martini and Totip cars and support vans.
