Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Firun,

The choice of a model to do is not easy and there's always a risk.
If you have a doubt about a subject, you still can make a survey on your website.

Second option, produce a kit through a subscription.
I made this some years ago for a 1/18 decal project.
I was not sure to sell all decals, so I asked to customer interested to subscribe.
At this time, I needed at least 30 customers to launch the project.
They sent me their payment and I produced the decals.

Inconvenience : Customers must to be in complete confidence to send a payment and wait several month to get their kit.

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Awesome!

Now, this includes the engine, airbox, radiator, shock tower mounts and all the fluid reservoirs? Just making sure.

I'll be for sure ordering one. How much is shipping to the US?

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Just thinking to something...
If anyone has good references of the real car and engine it will be nice to share it somewhere and collect everyone's references on a same place as we might be a few to have this one to build.
I've realized that I almost have nothing about Evo7 engine (or inside too)...

Hello !
The cost of delivery of a motor 7 euros. Post of Russia considers tariff the weight of the package. This is the cost for all countries.
Please write to order by e-mail.

Thank you.

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

I received my package today !!

Celica PE + Evo7 engine Transkit.

Wow wow wow !!

The engine transkit is perfect !! perfect cast, excellent building instructions, great details... Perfect I say !

And the PE set is perfect aswell !! So many parts I even think I may not use them all !
The building instructions is clear and complete, I just only regret there isn't a reference pic or two of the real car, especially concerning the special MonteCarlo fuel tnak, as I never noticed it so different...
With the transkit you can build either the Monte Carlo or the Safari version.
I have three sets and also intend to build 92 MonteCarlo Sainz's car with the transkit, most of the parts being common two both years.

Sincerely, if you are a rally models builder, these transkit really worse the price asked for them compared to what market offer in general knowing there simply isn't any other choice for an Evo7 engine or a Celica PE set allowing to build any version of the Celica with the same transkit.
A must have !

Hi Cris,

if it's on the post office it should have passed with success the custom step...?! I hope so, would be a pain to pay tax...

You may enjoy the transkit too, the resin cast is perfect and the resin itself is great, soft (elastic) but strong !! and very clean, no bubbles...
A very excellent stuff !!
Congratulations and thanks to ModellingMaster crew !

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Thank you, Phil, for your feedback. It's very nice to my ears, because I spent several months developing this pe set for celica. At that time I had little reliable information, so I think you're right. The PE fuel tank is correct in version of Safari. Fortunately, you have a choice when building ;-)

It can be more sincere, you caught all the details, and even put more details I could expect. Not sure I will add thel all myself

Uhh not sure we well understood each other...
In fact I think you are right for MC version with the PE, but tamiya is right for Safari...

Tamiya released the 92 safari version before the 93 MonteCarlo version that's why the MC kit has the safari fuel tank, they didn't correct it...
It's what I think...

The hasegawa kit I have is the safari one so can't say more for hasegawa.

I knew there were differences before both fuel tanks configurations (safari fuel tanks are usually bigger), but didn't notice they were so different.

Most of kit brands 1/43 or 1/24 seem to have made the mistake to copy the safari fuel tank...!

I really think you're right for the MC fuel tank, we have to use the PE for this version.

Problem is that I can't find pics from the MC fuel tank, all I find is from the 95 GT-Four (st205), I suppose you had some good ones to make the PE set, would you share them ?
maybe a references gallery on your website would be great. suggestion
