any one looking into a supercharger should really check out the BRP Coldside Supercharger. they take a JR supercharger and install it with their cold-side kit in place of the intake manifold. its a lot more powerful than the standard JR and a lot more responsive. total cost is $3400 but $200 off till christmas http://brperformance.net/cgi-bin/mer...gory_Code=1001

depends on the driver...and the tires...the miata was never much of a drag racer though, i doubt you'll get impressive times.

I've never driven a miata with a supercharger but i've driven one with a turbocharger on it. you wouldn't believe the power this thing has. its just a small greddy turbo but the car puts down about 250hp. its bad. i'm sure a supercharger would be bad too but they are a whole lot more expensive to get and maintain. so the miata can handle a whole lot of power despite the little amount it starts out with.

I have a BR Performance M-62 Stage 3 kit. It has a stand alone computer, and water to air intercooler.

It puts out 220 horsepower to the wheels, at 10 pounds of boost.

The kit costs around $5000, but is far more powerul than a JR supercharger, and can be upgraded to even higher power levels.

The car is faster than my buddy's Porsche Carrera now.

A local Miata owner with a similar setup ran a 12.9 quarter recently, with 14 psi, and race gas.
