dodge truck transmission

i have a 93 dodge diesel with an allison transmission. awile back it was downshifting too soon and the shop replaced some sensor. it is doing it again and im wondering if anybody can tell me what sensor it is and where located.

what model dodge truck? the downshift is it forced (passing gear). or regular while comming to a stop?
