Is Ralf Schumacher leaving BMW next year as well?

I know Montoya signed to run with McLaren a long time ago, but what about Ralf. At one time I heard Toyota wanted him badly, but are we positive he is going to leave BMW?

Don't think anybody is too keen on Ralf at the moment, especially Sir Frank. He (and Willi) will price himself out of a drive if he doesn't get realistic.

Silliest romour going about at the moment is for next year's Williams lineup to consist of Hakkinen and Villeneuve. Wonder who started that one?

Re: Is Ralf Schumacher leaving BMW next year as well?

Well, so far I have heard Patrick refute the story that J.V will be testing for them and I have read a press statement from M.H saying he doesn't have any plans on returning.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on the part of Bernie?

Re: Is Ralf Schumacher leaving BMW next year as well?

Because he wanted to spend time with his wife, Erja, and son, Hugo.
Why not retire when you're still at the top instead of waiting until you can't keep up?

I thnk Ralf should't drive any competition car.

What he did to Alonso in Monaco?
Alonso went around the outside of him, he didn't make Alonso do that, Alonso did it on his own.

Re: Is Ralf Schumacher leaving BMW next year as well?

Ralf has had a dismal season so far. If there is no signed contract with some team, e.g. toyota, already, Weber will have a jolly hard time selling him to anyone, especially for the amount of money they're hoping for. It somehow feels like he's not staying at Williams though, who will be at Williams next year is anybody's guess.

Ralf had blue flag since long time, and at the tunnel entrance he seemingly was letting Alonso overtaking him. But in the tunnel Ralf accelerated suddenly forcing Alonso to take the dirty trace and crashing into the wall.

Alonso did a risky movement actually, but it was Ralf's fault, he was seeking it and finally we got it.

Ralf adduced he had only two gears but don't you think that's a very poor excuse?

Far be it form me to defend a Schumacher, but I have to agree with Ray. As many Blue flags as Ralf may have ingored, it was fool hardy of Alonso to take that line in the tunnel.

Re: Is Ralf Schumacher leaving BMW next year as well?

To get back on topic, pitpass reports that Davidson has been invited for a meeting to Grove. They also seem convinced that Webber is one of the main candidates from a Williams seat, something that I'd really like to happen!

Have you seen this picture:

Alonso is a very calm person, he wouldn't do that without a reason.

But anyone has an opinion.
