Hi I Am Planning To Buy An Xj6 It Is A 1987 But Car Will Not Start The Guy Who Own This Car Think The Fuel Pump Is Not Working .can You Tell Me Were Is The Fuel Pump Is It Is Not Getting Any Gas.thank.

do not automaticly think it is the pump.they are very robust.try checking powre to it first.you dont have to dissasemble the car just go on the passenger side and right by the side of the dash is a small black box.remove the cover and check for power on both!!!!!sides.if yes then check pump if no check fuses and the red diode pack at firewall.this vehicle does have a inherant problem with the ignition switch burning up so i would check the basics and go to the switch!!!
