Predictions for 2017
I know that its not even 2017 yet, but the curiosity bug bit me. Do you have any predictions for 2017 releases from Tamiya, Aoshima, Fujimi, Revell-USA, Revell-Germany and others?
I have to say that I think 2016 was a pretty darn good year, at least for fulfilling my wishes. I got an FXX-K, AMG GT and Aventador SV. Plus, many got their wish for a Pagani. |

Re: Predictions for 2017
I'm very happy to be able to say- "2017? Meh!"
I got my E30 M3 this year. And a very nice (if a bit simple) Lotus Esprit. There is very little I can think of now that any kit maker could announce that would really excite me. (A Lotus Exige would do it). But then again, until Tamiya released it I had no idea that I needed a Mercedes 300SL....

Re: Predictions for 2017
Tamiya: a 300SL roadster, Lexus LC-500 or Porsche 911 GT3 RS?
Aoshima: probably more Lamborghini variations, but it would be nice to see them finally do a proper McLaren F1 short tail (preferably road car for me) Fujimi: who knows! Revell-Germany: a classic Mercedes like the pagado would be nice. |

Manta 400 and Lancia S4, Quattro short wheel base are coming. Ascona 400, 6R4 would be nice additions.

Re: Predictions for 2017
i'm actually expecting more morden F1 kits, like mercedes amg w07, from tamiya. it's been about 5 years since their RB6 kit. But who knows, their last WRC car kit was 10 years ago..

Re: Predictions for 2017
Surprised no one wants to see McLaren P1 or P1 GTR. I would love to be able to build one.
No matter what company releases the model. |

Re: Predictions for 2017
P1 can be converted from die-cast model which is officially licensed by McLaren and thus true to scale. In overall it's a good starting point concerning that the engine is not seen even on real P1.
