Purchasing advice needed

Hey all,
I am considering purchasing a 2005 SV6 3.9 for a very good price. One caveat...it has 235k but has been maintained very well and body is in great shape. I've owned a Venture and currently own a 01 Montana, both of which I've loved and have effectively "driven into the ground." I've always done my own vehicle maintenance, but I'm not familiar with the newer engines and other design changes for 2005 and later. I'd like some advice and any technical info I can get to steer me toward or away from this vehicle. Thanks!

Any GM vehicle from the late 1990s up until the bailout that isn't a truck is a bit of a gamble after 200k. Sometimes they do ok IF they're well maintained, sometimes you get one that beaks down all the time no matter how well you take care of it. If I were you, I'd steer clear.
