Driven the SLR!
My first real post here on the forum
 I drove the slr mclaren in july this year! It was in france, at the Paul Ricard Circuit! We were able to drive there all day. We did some laps around the circuit, we started with the SL500, then the SL55amg and then the slr mclaren! It's really a great car! We had to drive behind a safety car mostly! After this part we did some slaloms and lane changing excercises! I have to admit that the SL55amg is better in the slalom then the SLR! At the end of the day we could do some free laps or taxi drives! I did them both! The free laps were behind an other slr, but they didn't go that fast! The guys from mclaren told me I could go once more, alone... At that time the 'taxi' slr also took of. I was able to folow it for like 3-4 laps before I came into the pits! It was really great driving the slr! But as the 18" wheels were under it, in stead of the 19" wheels, I had some understeer! At the end of the day we could do some karting at the kart circuit of le castellet! We drove the bilands ( I have one of my own ) and had some fun for 2hours! |
