Oppose that and you'll be a fool. Say something again, and I'll just leave you to lose for not being a believer....if that's what you are trying to say. |

really now...

One would be nuts to think that the power to weight ratio of the Grand National will outperform the S2000. Where do these people come from? Weight is one thing; Downforce is another. |

murco does have a point about the s2000 in particular tho, the 240 horses dont kick in until 8300 rpm!!!, thats a little too long to wait for, so it wouldnt be all that hard to beat in a quarter. But murco, all u seem to talk about is going in a straight line, in a real race where u have to change the direction of the car and downshift, any domestic would get raped.

sorry if I like to use commas a lot. Maybe you dont comprehend because you are ignorant of simple vocabulary, and are trying to fit it all together with your poor knowledge of physics and the four-stroke engine. I wasn't trying to write an essay. Both cars were hypothetically using the same 'dirt' track so it's still even. if you want to complain about traction then go start a new thread. For the argument and the significant marginal difference, the engines performed different as they climbed in elevation. Would it have been easier for you if we put the RB26DETT into the Viper, becuase I'm guessing the platform(body and wheels) are just keeping you from looking deeper? Air and Proper fuel makes power.....you ignorant jerk. Like what I said, how does this start from one person saying inefficiency, to another opposing, followed by someone explaining why, and then traction? Because people like Murco stray off topic. |

actually i dont think history is all that important, i still havent found any practical usage for all the years of histoyr ive learned, the importance of what happened before is not that significant, just because somehting has been someway doesnt mean it should stay that way.
but thats really getting off the topic of the cars, blindwhite is correct in his argument about volumetric efficiency, even if he does not articulate it the best. a dohc will outperform the any ohv in a wide range of situations due to its ability to ingest for air, and thats the bottom line, no fancy calculations r needed. |

whats your point, according to divine reccurence, since time is infinite, all things that have have happened have occured before and will occur again in the future, so repetition is inevitable.
i think we are getting off topic though. |
