That is a bit too pricey, thanks but no thanks, I don't have that kinda cheeze laying around right now. Maybe by christmas or so, we'll see.

What's the best price for the KYB or Illuminas ? $438 is a bit much. That's good bk2 about you getting the springs. I'm going with 19" wheels ,but haven't purchased them yet. Trying decide which shocks to purchase.

19" what Moe? In other words, what kinda rims are you getting.

Try and stay away from chrome, even though it looks good, they are heavy.

Re: Group Deal: Tein S. Tech Springs (4th & 5th Gen)

My bad. The wheels are 18" chrome. Voxx is the maker. Scorze is the name of the wheel. They come in black ,silver, or chrome. The chrome wheel is a little high. I haven't seen this wheel on any car in this area. After the wheels, shocks ,and tires are installed it's time for a upgrade in the music department. Check those wheels out at discount tire .com . You are right about chrome wheels being heavy. We installed a set of aftermarket shocks on our truck. It came with 20's chrome . I thought , No problem , about being able to just lift them up a just manhandle them around the garage. Wrong . They are heavier than what I thought.

damn i just spent the whole day installing my friend's and my suspension and damn it feels good. we both have 4th Gens and we both got Tein S. Tech with Illumina shocks and wat a difference~! the handling is so much more responsive but the ride is a bit bumpy but bearable. It should settle down a bit more then I'll be happier. Let me know when you guys get your suspension in.

Re: Group Deal: Tein S. Tech Springs (4th & 5th Gen)

Man, my neighbor didn't have a spring compressor but one of other homies got one, so I'll probably have to hit him up this weekend.

That is how the whole thing with the floor mats started, I was going to put the springs in and he realized that he didn't have a spring compressor, so we ended up making floor mats.

Funny how things work out.

why didn't you just rent one at an auto parts store? that's what we did. But good thing you just didn't do it anyway. That'd be plain stupidiy.

Re: Group Deal: Tein S. Tech Springs (4th & 5th Gen)

oh yeah, i forgot but I finally dropped my car with my Teins. It's been about a full week and the handling is very well improved. I would recommend everyone to get shocks even if they're not dropped because it handles so much better. But the ride quality is bad. I get annoyed sometimes of so much rattling in my car and the car bouncing everywhere. I guess it's worth the sacrifice but at least the car looks a lot more aggressive. Click on my www down below to see more pics of my new drop. There's one there in my sig that you already see so...Well, when you guys get pics, post them up so we all can see. Laters.

With The Illuminas, can't you change the ride setting from 1-5? And If so; how does it ride on the most comfortable setting? I'm thinking about getting Some springs and Illuminas.

yes you can put them on the softest setting but then the ride would be bouncy instead of a hard hit. So it's best when you even it out. Right now I have mine set on, 2 front and 3 rear.

yeah my car isn't that low. there's still a 3 finger gap in the front and a 4 finger gap in the back.
