Daring new project!!!
After watching 'The Fast And The Furious' at the cinema last night, I have been inspired to start a new project.
The cars in the film are all super modified Japanese road cars, and the best kit I found was Tamiya's New Celica. I am piecing together parts from the spares box, and this is what I have come up with so far. All parts will need molding into place, then a wicked paint job applied on top with graphics. Big 18" wheels have been sourced, and the car will have a loud coloured interior and big Sound system. Work proper will start as soon as I finish my S2000! Updates as usual!!! |

If you can get your hands on American Revell kits, the Integra Type R has big flashy decals that totally fit the bill. Hell, maybe I'll just send you mine, if you think they'll work. Let me know; I'll try to find pics of them...

Here's a link to the regular model... Acura Integra Type R. The site only shows the "stock" form, not the "modified," even though it's not quite stock, either. I'm still looking for the pics of the crazy decals...

It's only Rice if it's made to look fast and it isn't. If it's fast, your allowed to make it look silly . It's like plastering Cobra symbols all over my Marquis, when I know damned well there are NO Cobra Mustang parts on her....
That pic looks good at the top .

Most are parts from other cars, the sills are of the R34, the front spoiler off a Porsche GT2., rear wing off the DTM Merc!
They need to be reduced in size a bit, they are too deep at the moment! Colour wise, I recieved some prismatic purple pearl laquer, so want to apply that over a white base, that will give me a subtle white pearl colour, then add some blue graphics. S2000 is gonna show me some decals, so might see if that changes those plans. Suspension is probably going to need a lot of work, those wheels are wide and the car must be very low. But I think most of the parts will be off other kits, no scratchbuilding! |

Plus, as much as I love it, I can't help feeling I need the wheels for my Nismo 400R project! So no, not yet! The Road R34 should be finished after the S2000. Hopefully both this week! |

Whoo-mah!
Here you go, Dan.
From the front of the instruction sheet: The Decal section of the instruction sheet. It's easier to see the stuff here in black and white than on the sheet itself in white on light blue... "Custom Version 1" "Custom Version 2" These are the "Bonus Sponsor Decals," of which I've never heard of any... They are on the decal sheet in pairs in silver, white and yellow... And here is the decal sheet itself: Let me know if you have any questions... Quote:
