NFSU Lancer ES, FWD or AWD?

Ok, just before people flame me, I will capitalize this and make it nice and big so everybody understands.
THE REAL LIFE LANCER ES IS FWD, I KNOW ALREADY

But my friends and I aren't sure about the game version. It demonstrates remarkably AWD-like characteristics. And, when you put the wide-body kit on it, it bears a remarkable resemblance to an EVO (a shitty wrecked EVO, but an EVO none the less). Is this some kind of teaser because EA couldn't get the license for the EVO while developing NFSU? Any other opinions, I really do think it acts like a front biased EVO, ya know, kinda like a real EVO. Just my

The EVO does have 4WD, i havent played the game in a while, but the lancer didn't seem like a 4WD to me. Besides, the game doesn't have many situations where you can tell whay kind of drive the cars have. Can you do burnouts? Maybe that could tell ou for sure.
