Question about 95 civic

Well....I am going to be honest...I do not know hardly anything about cars...

I just wanted to ask a few things..

What are some must haves if I am upgrading performance on my 95 civic?

I am not looking too expensive right now, just small things.

If any 1 could help let me know...thanks.

Re: Question about 95 civic

A good suspension is the only "must have" when upgrading the performance of a Civic. Everything else depends on your future plans for the car, how much you're willing to spend and how much power you're looking for in the end. Because if you were to get just basic bolt-ons (intake, header, and exhaust), they might not work with your future plans. Like if you are going to do an engine swap and/or a turbo kit, then the basic bolt-ons will be unusable (except for the exhaust with a swap).

Re: Re: Question about 95 civic

which model civic do u have? if its not an ex or si then a "must" is a engine swap for that pussy engine. even bolt-ons wont help too much.

even with your ex model its still weak so motor swap unless your willing to work with a sohc...since you dont have a big budget you think you can afford a b16? or if not a b18b would be nice too..since you dont know much about cars and motor swapping go look in the engine swapping guide here: The COMPLETE 92-00 Civic Owners Engine Swapping Guide!!
