Alpine vs. Eclipse
I've got Alpine head units in 2 of our cars.Both are the same model.We are very happy with them.
Now,we want to replace the old unit in our Grand Prix.My first choice was Alpine again.A salesman I was dealing with today,also recommended the Eclipse model.Both are priced about the same,but this guy said that he thinks the Eclipse sounds even better than the Alpine. I thought it sounded good too,but I had never heard of Eclipse until today. I'd appreciate all opinions.Thanks. |

Eclipse decks are very good. i'd say one of the best if not the best. its hard to say what is the best its really a personnal opinion....

(4th one poped due to accident.)I also have brand new (still wraped in plasitc) front/rear bumper covers. the grey ones. also a brand new chrome grille.let me know if you need something. it will be going to the junk yard in a few weeks so hurry |

Alpine and Eclipse are usually considered the two best. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Just watch out for salesmen, most of them are more about getting money then getting you the best product.
