88.5

Today at the gas station, I noticed that the three-type pumps that usually have 87, 89 and 92 octane was labeled as having 88.5 instead of 89!!! WTF? This was at an Exxon station, BTW...

Yea, that maybe because 8 9octane is 95% Regular (87 octane), and 5% Premium (92 octane). According to federalt standards you ahev to display the Octane amount, so there maybe equate to 88.5 octane.

...But it was 89 last week! They just put a sticker over it!

I dunno, maybe they just got it recertified, ask them about it.
