The slight surface roughness is to give some tooth for primer to adhere to. Don't sand it- spray it with primer, and then sand/polish the primer smooth.

2 Porsnatic: My own body still far from finish. I just indicated some important for my eyes inaccuracies and I'm a little disappointed because I was hoping to use the complete body from Beemax instead of my own. This body is much better than mine in many ways. I think that I will use it with little corrections, when I return to the building.
