'03 TL and '94 re-design
Is the '03 going to be identical to the '02 or carry some of the cosmetic changes of the new CL?
And does the '04 redesign mark a new platform cycle or just a cosmetic revitalization of the current body as with the '03 CL? Thanks in advance. |

Right now TL/CL are all based on extended Accord Platform.
In Sept 2002 new Accord will come out with a new B platform. The platform Civic, RSX is based on is known as A platform. Either TL/CL uses extended S2000 platform and become RWD. Or they will be change with the new Accord platform. That would make it 2003 because 2004 Acura wants to focus marketing on NSX. |

Interesting. To make sure I follow you...
I've read the '03 TL's are supposed to start arriving in February. I take it from what you say that the current TL will remain essentially unchanged for '03, but both it and the revised '03 CL will likely have a new platform and be starting a new cycle a year from now. Thanks for your help, and if this is incorrect, please let me know. |
