Corvette not cranking when turning key
Hey guys, I just broke into the Vette world today when I bought a 78 L-82. When you turn the key, no power goes to the starter. I know of the anti-theft control and she does have a new solenoid. Any help would be sweet!...Mike in Ocklawaha FL

Re: Corvette not cranking when turning key
Could be a number of things. Neutral safety switch if auto trans, clutch interlock switch if manual, is where I would start. Make sure all your connections are clean and tight. Corvettes are notorious for "ground" problems due to the 'glas body. Also be certain the correct leads are attached at the correct terminals on the solenoid. A factory wiring diagram can be of immense "help" here. Jim
