Radio died

Hello! I have a 96 Aurora. The electric antenna would not work, so I ordered one off of Ebay. Instructions are pretty lame, and I am not electrically minded at all. Nevertheless, I spliced black to black, red to red, and green to green. Turned on the radio and "Voila," the antenna raised and lowered when I turned it off. I turned the ignitition off. Went to turn the radio on again with ignition on, and nothing. No display on the radio. Replaced the 10A fuse. Nothing. I am baffled. Any ideas?

Re: Radio died

There may be another fuse in fuse boxes or on rear of radio. Radio needs 2 12v feeds. One from ignition and one for memory

Re: Radio died

Thanks for answering. I will pull the front panel and the radio and look for another fuse. Of note: The display on the dash above the radio tonight said "Date and Day not available." That is new. I usually have the date and day displayed and rely on the radio for the time. Something is messed up...
