93 set me free?
Ok so I drive a 93 olds cutlass supreme 3.1 fwd and it used to start just fine than out of nowhere I went to turn the key the other day and nothing, battery is fully charged, I have lights and fuel. I jumped the starter motor from the positive to the negative connections on it, car started fine, does this mean my starter motor is bad?

Welcome to AF' No, then the starter is ok, correct? When attempting op start do you have 12v to the solenoid?

Re: 93 set me free?
You can also try starting it in neutral or while moving the shifter to see if the PRNDL switch out on the trans is loose or has bad contacts. Keep your foot on the brake in case it does start while moving the shifter. A quick easy test.

Re: 93 set me free?
Thanks for the tip but I tried that earlier without any luck, right now I'm goin after the fusible link, there is not 12v at the solenoid, I'm going to follow that and I'll let you all know how it works out

Yea that was one of the first things I checked, I've been burned 1 or two times because of bad fuses, I'm going to finish working on the car tomorrow afternoon, I'll let ya know how it goes
