Testarossa Details
Hi!
I'm going to build a model kit of a Testarossa sooner or later, and I wanted to ask about a few details that are a bit vague in my mind. 1. Is the cavalino in the back of the car supposed to be black or chrome? I've seen it both ways... And is there supposed to be one in the front grill, too? 2. Does the "FERRARI" script go on the top of the engine cover, or on the back lip? 3. Are the side markers just bulbs stuck through the hole, or is there a separate lens covering the bulb? 4. Anyone have a good shot of the stock Testarossa wheels? (The early, single-bolt wheels, that is...) Thanks! |

this should work for you. if nothing comes up, just go to ferrarinetwork.com and go to inventory then pre-owned ferrari. it should be on the second page.
EDIT: except for the wheels, i'll keep looking

Okay, now I'd like to see the wiring diagram from the twin distributors to the heads...
Anyone? |

Yeah, those were pretty good; thanks. Your link didn't work, but I found two of them okay. Nice pics!!
Now I need pictures of the center console and seatbelts, and still more pics of the engine, especially if anyone has some of the engine by itself... TIA!! |

Would pics of the engine from a 512TR work? If so I have some.

Here are some pics of a 512 TR. This was produced after the original Testarossa. There are only a few changes in the body and engine, I believe.

Re: Testarossa Details
Hi, The top two pictures of the 512TR are great but they are side on...would appreciate if you (or anyone else) has any pictures from the front, the top and the back. There is an incredible amount of plumbing and wiring between the two banks of inlets. I am building a 1/8 scale testarossa (the engine is a 512TR) but I need to scratch build the injector lines and the accelorator linkage. Any help would really be appreciated.
